I started getting into beauty during freshman year of high school, but never dug into the beauty community until later on. I would look at pictures and videos of people applying skin products and compare my skin with theirs. Seeing youtube videos boosted my self esteem and confidence a lot. I had a lot of insecurities so seeing someone with similar acne problems with me definitely made me feel normal. Some of my favorite youtubers are BretMan Rock, Koleen Diaz, Jessica Lu, James Charles, and more. I really like how each of them has their own unique personality. I typically go each of their accounts for different content. For Koleen Diaz, she is my fashion inspiration and from time to time, I would watch her videos for skincare tips as well because she also suffers from acne, which is a consistent problem that I have.
For BretMan Rock and James Charles, I usually stop by their channel for makeup looks and their humor. Their humor throughout their videos always brighten up my day. As for Jessica, she is my favorite amongst all of these bloggers. She is around my age and also attends college. Some of her videos are super relatable and aesthetically pleasing.
